National Student Leadership Week 2012
National Student Leadership Week 2012, April 15–21.
This year’s theme is “Building Schools—Building Futures.” This theme incorporates both local and global issues and present and future concerns.
Building and strengthening your school today will build a stronger future for all students, individually and collectively, and for the entire community. NASC, NHS, and NJHS encourage every student organization, especially student councils and Honor Societies, to engage in activities that help build schools—whether beautifying your campus or raising money to literally build schools in communities in need. Building schools also means building the capacity of each student at your school to lead, learn, and live a strong and healthy life.
We appreciate all that your student leaders are doing to build schools and promote the value of leadership at your school and in your community. We invite you to share your successes with us. Take time to explore the additional resources posted online and map out a plan for your NSLW 2012 celebrations in April. It is our honor to work with the nation’s most outstanding student leaders and their advisers—thank you for all you do.
Look for more resources coming to this site in coming weeks as well as in special insert in the February edition of Leadership for Student Activities magazine.
