Project: Lemonade Blankets

Lemonade blankets are made of two pieces of fleece, with four inch segments cut into them and double knotted together. Lemonade blankets are meant to provide warmth to the soul of the child who is undergoing chemotherapy. This project was organized by the officers and advisers of Creekside Middle School's NJHS. Every member gave their best effort for 55 minutes one day after school to make the blankets. The blankets provided a positive impact on the community, and were a valuable learning lesson for the students who participated in the project.
