Project: Fleece Blankets for Phoenix Children's Hospital

The goal of Aprende’s NJHS project was to make blankets for the Intensive Care Unit of Phoenix Children’s Hospital. The project was completed on a Saturday with all members knotting the blankets together. National Elementary Honor Society students from the neighboring school helped as well. After the fleece had been washed, NJHS officers and sponsors took the blankets to the hospital and delivered them to hospital staff, who gave them to patients and their families.
