HONOR SOCIETY TIPS AND TOOLS

Have You Visited the Adviser Resource Center?
Check out the online Adviser Resource Center (ARC) for chapter management tools and resources. Make the ARC your first stop with chapter management questions. Log in today on the NHS or NJHS website to access sample forms, letters, and other materials to assist new and returning advisers.

New This Year!
We want to speed your communication to members about programs and services designed to help them get #Futuready. A new tile has been added to the ARC: “Publicizing NHS/NJHS Programs & Services.” This is where you will find sample emails to promote specific programs, downloadable take-home fliers, and more. Check out this resource in the NHS and NJHS Adviser Resource Center. More promotional items are in development and will be added soon.

Access Our Informational Brochure in Spanish
For members whose parents/guardians may wish to learn more about NHS or NJHS in their native tongue, a Spanish version of an informational brochure has been added in the “Work with Members & Officers” section of the NHS and NJHS Adviser Resource Center. It is also available in the Parents section of the website under Student Membership.

It’s Time for a Chapter Check-up
Take a moment to review the Chapter Checklist to assess your chapter’s operational readiness for the coming academic year. Bylaws up to date? Faculty council in place? Go through the checklist to be sure your chapter can hit the ground running. The Chapter Checklist is available in the Adviser Resource Center under “New Chapters & New Advisers” on both the NHS and NJHS websites. (Even if you’re not new, it’s a good idea to review this checklist!)
