Sweets are a great way to honor a great year. Treat yourself and your students—you’ve earned it!
With large groups, this activity can make a big impression. At the start of the next school year, consider asking NHS, NJHS, or NASC students to answer the question “What stuck with you last year?” This can be a great recruitment tool to make sure NHS or NASC “sticks” in students’ memories when activities gear up in the fall.
Promote freshmen success-use a message board as a great welcome to new students. Allow departing seniors to impart their wisdom to the next group. Display the keys in a prominent location where they’ll be viewed by the rest of the school.
