Thank You, Advisers!

Just when it seems the school year is going on forever … it’s almost over. As you prepare for the final days of exams, graduations, and the plethora of programs and related year-end events, we THANK YOU for your continuing commitment and leadership to your chapters, councils, and student leaders. “Challenging” only begins to describe the hurdles and shifting pathways you navigated this school year to help your students find a sense of normalcy and success in their leadership activities. It is through your efforts (and giving of your time) that students in your school had opportunities to actively and creatively engage in school life so as to feel that they were a part of something special.

As you head out for the summer, make sure to take care of yourself. Read the pile of books that has been getting taller, play in the garden, take a hike in the woods, run, ride your bike, sleep; do something that makes your heart sing and your mind clear. After the past few years, it is so important that you take care of YOU! You need to be at your best to help your student leaders be their best.

Once again, we thank you for all that you have done for your student leaders, your school, and your community. It’s because of your dedication and commitment to your chapter or council that so many students, teachers, and community members had opportunities to come together.
We look forward to seeing you in the fall.
